There's many types of gloves out there, each made from different materials which should be used in specific situations. In this post, we're going to be putting a focus on vinyl gloves.
If you're not familiar with them yet, vinyl gloves are a popular choice for gloves. These gloves are made from a type of plastic called PVC (polyvinyl chloride), and they're typically used in the food & medical industries. Vinyl gloves are great as they help to protect the skin from different chemicals using airtight & watertight barriers with their unique material.
Two major benefits of using vinyl gloves instead of latex gloves are:
- It's much more affordable to buy vinyl gloves.
- Many people out there are allergic to latex; vinyl gloves have a very low allergic reaction rate compared to latex gloves.
Although vinyl gloves are great, you always need to consider your situation before making a decision on which gloves to purchase. For example, it's probably smarter to use nitrile gloves if you're looking for something a bit more heavy-duty. Make sure to do research before buying anything as it's extremely important to have the right type of gloves in your workplace!
